Who We Are
ShoChu Co. is a collaborative pop-up restaurant that will offer Japanese style "teishoku" set lunches during the day and "chuka" inspired izakaya dishes with an expanded bar program in the evening. The teams behind this project are the creative minds from Chinatown-based Shojo, and the soon-to-be Somervillains - Mimi's Chuka Diner. ShoChu Co. is a portmanteau of each teams' name as well as the suffix "co" for collaboration, company, or cocktail. Just as our name has several interpretations, our menu will bring unique interpretations of dishes you may have had before, as well as new and exciting flavors for you to explore. In a true collaborative effort, every aspect of this pop-up has been woven together by the five-headed dragon we are now calling ShoChu Co.
